Why shearling
The fleece stays on the hide, so the curls trap your own body heat. No separate lining and no bulk, just a jacket that feels warm the moment you put it on.
The outer face is smooth or suede sheepskin. It handles light snow, wipes clean with a damp cloth and looks better the more you wear it.

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, over a thin shirt. Shearling has a little give, but if you are between two sizes take the larger one, and ask for a custom fit if you plan to layer a thick knit.

Yes. Shearling is sheepskin tanned with the wool left on. The outside is the hide, smooth or suede, and the inside is the natural fleece. If you have a question about one particular jacket, send us a message and we will answer it.
The shoulder seam sits on the edge of your shoulder, the sleeves end at your wrist bone and you can zip it over a jumper. The wool inside takes up a little room, so do not size down. Use the size finder above or send us your measurements.

Hang it on a wide hanger away from radiators and direct sun, never in plastic. Brush suede gently, wipe smooth hide with a damp cloth and let a wet jacket dry in open air. Never put shearling in a washing machine.
